In this instance, ‘out of sight, out of mind’ is an attitude that can lead to serious illness and for some, even a death sentence?
When it comes to our health, we need to be mindful and caring of what we can’t see every bit as much as what we can see.
A good place to start is our function of the Lymphatic System, also referred to as our lymph system. I can just imagine you saying, “Our what?”
The fact that few people are familiar with their lymphatic system is mind-boggling when you consider it is, in partnership with our immune system, our last line of defense against viruses, bacterial infections, respiratory ailments and life-threatening chronic disease.
Simply stated, when our lymphatic system becomes like a gel and bogs down, so do we. This allows illness and disease to germinate. When our lymph fluid is free flowing and without blockage, we are vibrant, energetic and healthy on the inside.
Lymph is the foundation for our body’s most miraculous of abilities and functions – its natural ability to defend and heal itself against any and all illness. This is a process called Natural Hygiene.
Whenever we develop illness or chronic disease, you can bet that our lymph system, and subsequently our immune system, is dysfunctional and performing poorly.
A healthy lymphatic system, on the other hand, gives us an excellent chance to stave off viruses, bacterial infections, parasites, respiratory disorders and any and all chronic disease.
Name any malady and our remarkable body is capable of protecting us against it – so long as our lymph fluid is functionally able to do its job. And make no mistake about it – You are in complete control of the function of the lymphatic system and how your body is able to defend itself!
Can you imagine buying a brand new car and over the next five years, you clean the outside a hundred times, but you never clean the interior, not even once?
I sure hope not. But, believe it or not, that’s precisely what the majority of us do to our own body, unless, of course, you can honestly say you have eaten only cleansing, water-rich raw foods your entire life.
We routinely labor to look our best, but we seldom give a moment’s thought about how things are looking on the inside. For far too many people, their first glimpse inwardly is the shocking X-ray of a cancer-eaten lung or that of an expanding life-threatening tumor.
This is your wake-up call. Just like the need to help the enzymes within you to work effectively on your behalf, the extraordinarily vital lymph fluid, lymph nodes, spleen and other cleansing organs need you to help them perform their disease-fighting functions.
So how does the function of the lymphatic system work? And why do we have to take direct action to help our lymph fluid perform optimally and keep us healthy?
